The website manages sign-in, membership, downloads, and two-device activation. The Mac app owns project files, research material, provider credentials, processing jobs, boards, and exports. When you call a provider, the request leaves directly from your Mac.

Every project has its own brief, gathered references, analyses, territories, and canvases in one local database. Nothing is pooled automatically. When a reference deserves a longer life, save it explicitly to the Library for reuse across projects.

No. Connect a supported Claude or ChatGPT subscription, or use your own Anthropic or OpenAI API key. Provider charges, if any, are paid directly by you.
Can Visulry read all the files on my Mac? +
No. You choose a Visulry workspace and the material you add. Provider requests are assembled by the Mac app from that selected project context.
Is the canvas editable? +
Yes. It is a focused moodboard canvas: add, remove, move, resize, crop, rotate, layer, group, annotate, align, and undo. It is not a general-purpose design tool.
Can research be reused across projects? +
Gathered material is private to its project by default. Save selected references to the Library when you want them available across projects.
